Benue Born songstress and Queen of Melody popularly known as IMELDA JANE aka Imelda j was recently appointed alongside other top African artist and humanitarians from various countries to be become a GlobalgoodwillAmbassador .

Imelda Jane is currently the Ambassador of people living with disabilities in Nigeria and also has an NGO called Imeldajane Initiative for people living with disabilities and women,he has been a strong advocate of the disabled.

EX-NIMASA boss, Patrick Akpobolokemi, granted N20million bail

Justice Raliat Adebiyi of a Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere yesterday January 25th, granted the former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Patrick Akpobolokemi, and four other employees of NIMASA bail of N20 million each in a N754,740,680 alleged fraud case.

Three corpses were found and exhumed from a building site at Ugwuaji area of Enugu on the Enugu - Portharcourt Expressway yesterday Monday Jan. 25th. The corpses were buried inside the foundation of the building allegedly owned by a church which is under construction and totally covered with concrete.

Pres.Buhari host and rewards victorious sports men and women (photos)

President Buhari hosted and rewarded Victorious Men and Women of Sports in Nigeria at the Statehouse Banquet Hall today January 21st. At the reception, Buhari rewarded World scrabble champion, Wellington Jighere with N1.5m while his coach got N1.2m & his team security got N450k reward. Masterminds of Nyanya and Kuje bomb blast arrive in court today (photos)

The Suspected masterminds of the October 2015 Nyanya and Kuje bomb blast which left 20 people dead and several others seriously injured were arraigned before a Federal High Court today, Thursday, January 21 in Abuja. 

The five masterminds identified as Abdulazeez Muhazab, Ishiaku Salihu, Mohammed Jimoh, Abdulazeez Nasiru and Abdullahi Nasiru were arraigned on a five countcharge of conspirarcy to carry out a bomb attack utilizing Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), resulting in the death of scores of people. Buhari will not know peace if Niger Delta knows no peace - Tompolo

In a statement which he released yesterday January 15th, embattled former Niger Delta militant, Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo said that President Buhari will know no peace if the Niger Delta region does not know peace. He said this while distancing himself from the recent incidents of pipelines being blown up in Delta state. Many believe the militants are protesting the court order granted by an Abuja judge for his arrest.
